HOW TO GROW
KIWIBERRIES
Step 1
Place the seeds into a plastic zip-lock
with garden soil, write the date and
place bag into the fridge for 6 weeks.
Step 2
After 6 weeks, sow each seed about
3mm into seed trays of sandy soil.
Moisten and then move into part sun position.
Seeds should germinate after 3-4 weeks.
Step 3
Once sprouted, move tray to sunny position.
Transplant seedlings when 10-15cm in height.
Keep in a small-medium pot until
after first winter.
Step 4
Transplant to final position after last frost.
Once established, will survive severe cold.
Additional water advised when fruiting.
Kiwiberry Plants can take between
5-6 years to begin fruiting.

and freeze for at least 2 weeks.
After 2 weeks, take seeds out
and allow them to return to room
temperature.
Step 2
Sow seeds onto the surface of
seed raising mix in seed trays
or small pots. Moisten and then
move to a sunny position.
Germination time can vary
from 2-6 weeks.
Step 3
Seedlings can be transplanted
once three leaves are growing.
Once all chance of frost has
passed they can be moved
directly into the ground.
Step 4
Even when established, will require
regular watering and daily checking
through summer when flowers
and fruiting occurs.
Strawberries will take between
12-18 months to bear fruit.

a small-medium pot until after first winter.
Step 4
Transplant to final position after first winter.
Additional water advised when fruiting.
Mulberry Trees can take between
7-10 years to begin fruiting.
